Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a game for the Wii U that was released in November 13, 2014 in Japan, December 5, 2014 in North America, January 2, 2015 in Europe, and January 3, 2015 in Australia. The game is based off "The Adventures of Captain Toad" from Super Mario 3D World, but there is added depth and variety.
Gameplay
The Super Mario series Toad amiibo will unlock a bonus game on almost every course where the player has to find Pixel Toad. Any other amiibo will give the player a 1-Up Mushroom, or randomly two 1-Up Mushrooms.

The Toad amiibo unlocks the Pixel Toad minigame.
